New Blog!

I started this blog after being bombarded by news of police brutality this morning. I was rather upset about the shooting of Sean Bell over the weekend. Then, I hear about an 88-year old woman in Atlanta being shot and killed while police were executing a "no-knock" warrant. After this, I was reading my friend Adrienne's blog and a string of clicking on links to other pages leads me to a video of a UCLA student being tasered by the 'rent-a-cops' at the UCLA library. This new knowledge and prior knowledge of similiar events sparked my desire to start this blog to raise awareness of these terrible incidents of police brutality and excessive force.
